I enjoyed the meal. I ordered a ribeye steak, a salad, and French fries, which came to a total of thirty dollars. The waiters were polite, and the food was prepared quickly. I ordered the steak medium-well, though it was closer to well-done, and I had expected it to be a bit juicier. Overall, I’m satisfied.

Hush puppies were excellent!! Perfectly fried and just the right amount of sweet. Mac and cheese and cole slaw were just ok. Baked sweet potato was simple, but delicious. Brisket sandwich hit the spot. Definitely want to come back to try the ribs.

Got here today just as they opened. Spent more than I normally due--- ribs by the pound,3lbs are more than what the all you can eat used to cost. The ribs are very good St. LOUIS style. Not over cooked, no sauce needed unless you're a saucer/sugar addict. Really , pork with seasoning and natural juices/flavor doesn't need to be masked. Sauce was ordered on the side and I took it home since I didn't eat it. No ribs were leftover. Love their ribs.

Sitting in the lot doing this review. Sort of disappointed to know how small these portions truly are and how inconsistent service is. I have been here 4 times and it has been inconsistent since my first visit. First visit was great. I wish I could say the same about the remaining visits. I opened my kids food which is NOT kids meals and noticed how bare the plate was. I got 3 meals for almost $60 which is not a cheap dinner. When I pulled around the lot and back to the window to ask for a refund a gentleman came by and told me he could not give me a refund for the skimpy orders but he would give me more. During this conversation he tells me about how long he’s been serving these tiny portions and inconsistent food to people. As a consumer, your duration of business does not matter in that moment. Everyone does not have to agree with your product or the way you serve. Maybe some people are ok with you serving them small portions but charging full prices. With that I will take my business back to SmokePit, where I know I’ll get my bang for my bucks with consistency.
