“Surprisingly good food ...we had chimichurri flank steak and our friends had the Cuban sandwich and chicken chop chop. Yucca fries were soooo good. Beef empanada was tasty, but served a bit cold. Would definitely go back!!”

We had no idea what we were walking into, wanted to try a Kava place after hearing about it from friends, the Kava is delicious and relaxing (I had 3) but what makes this place really special is the people. The owners, the activites (check their website for music trivia, karaoke). This is a great contrast to today's modern world of bars where no one interacts with each other, and everyone just gets tipsy and then leaves. This is a special place where humans interact with other humans. Wish I didn't live an hour away, but I'll still be back <3”

“I stopped by Hillbillies for the first time I'm several months. I got home and noticed I didn't get the extra bbq sauce I ordered. I was busy so I didn't bother to call them back. The next day my wife and I both had plenty left over so I called and asked if I could get the two bbq sauces that they missed. I was fully expecting them to say they would have to charge me again which would have been perfectly fine as I really should have called the same day. To my surprise, they said sure just come through the drive through. That is the little extra service that goes a long way for me. They always have good food so I would have been back regardless but this experience makes it more likely that I will return a lot sooner.”

“I felt like having a mocha on Monday after seeing my dentist ( a treat for myself! ) not the place I usually go to was closed so Google gave me this as an option. The last time I came here was when I moved to this area SIX years ago!!!I got a mocha frappe and it was so amazing I had a total of FOUR in a week!!!!I'm never going to waste my money on a watery Starbucks mocha frappe again! Trust me you won't either if you try this one!!!I also tried the frappe that shalt not be named and that was pretty awesome too!!”

“My wife and I absolutely love this place! Such a great, quite and relaxed atmosphere with amazing service and the food is delicious! My wife has digestive issues and often has problems with food when we go out to eat, and she has never had any issues with the food at this place. We can here at least twice a week and the food is amazing for such a great price too!”

The atmosphere is beautiful, there is a swing, a gorgeous mural on the wall, and calm music that they have playing.The drinks are customizable to EXACTLY what you’d like, even down to how much sugar and ice. I was able to get my favorite kind of tea, and it was incredible.We had macarons as well, while they had been busy prior and sold out of several things, there were still many options- and the macarons were to DIE for.It’s not a restaurant, but the sweet treats and seating area definitely makes for a cozy place to have a snack.Can’t wait to return!”

“I've historically had good coffee here; however, the last time I came in, I asked for straight black coffee, reinstated that I wanted black coffee after being told of a flavored roast, and was given this odd, caramel-flavored black coffee. Hopefully it was just a flule; Catawba is my go-to coffee in West Charlotte.”

I haven't been able to make it for half off on Taco Tuesday but it is awesome they have it. The staff is friendly and it is clean. I wish they used El Milagro taco shells but it is okay.”
