My husband and I love coming here! As South Florida natives we know how difficult it is to find good, authentic Cuban food. This place brings us right back home! Service was also great and speedy, Cierra had a positive attitude the entire time and made sure to check up on us. Miami-themed decor, and Spanish music will transport you to Florida!

When I saw this driving home one day I was excited. After my dinner today I was very disappointed. Sierra/ciara was amazing and the only good thing about the place. Her personality was bubbly, playful and awesome. It was dead silent. The music was so low it was a whisper. Funerals have more energy. I’m Puerto Rican and when I see mami fusion café I think of salsa playing and flavor! Vibrancy and fun. It was the complete opposite. I ordered beef empanadas for me and my husband. They were pretty small but okay seasoning wise. The dough tasted a little like old fryer oil. I ordered ropa veja that came with jasmine rice and black beans. The ropa veja was so salty and tasted exactly like the empanadas. But with 3x the salt. It seemed old because it was crusted around the dish. The black beans were meh salty and low flavor. $19.95 for a cup of rice a cup of beans and a cup of ropa veja. Not worth it. My husband got the nicaraguan tostone burger. He is white but had traditional Puerto Rican and Cuban food before so he was just as excited . He stated the tostones were soggy and not fried enough, and, the burger wasn’t seasoned and for him nothing was salted. His burger $13.95 and didn’t come with a side. This is highly disappointing. $50 without the tip is wild. Was hoping to get some good food but will keep looking. Update as of 9/20 I have food poisoning
