Just average >>> not great, but not real bad ... kinda like a lunchroom cafeteria at school.I have eaten at far better Cracker Barrel restaurants.

Did not stop to eat ~ last minute Mother’s Day/Birthday gifts needed and CB always has great stuff. Found two items, and thanks to Kevin & Chase, a very similar item was on clearance (none were out in the clearance section). As someone who has been in retail for over 40 years, I can attest that when an Associate helps you save some $, that is exemplary customer service. Kudos to Chase and Kevin for doing the right thing. I’ll be back the next time that I pass through between upstate NY and north central FL.

I love the chicken/pastry. The food there is great. I wish you could bring back the green lime beans, they're the best vegetable

I eat here a lot when I'm in Lumberton. I live about 40 minutes away. Normally, it's good, so I don't know what happened this time, as there was no wait to be seated. I ordered breakfast even though it was noon. I had to wait it seemed like 30 minutes before I got my food. I even asked another waitress could she check on my food. It came out that very moment. The pancakes were barely warm, and the eggs weren't warm at all. The meat was tough and room temperature. I ate half but decided to take the rest home where I could reheat it. I don't know what happened but it would appear my food sat somewhere, got cold and when I asked about it they saw it and immediately served it.
Cracker Barrel has really gone down hill. Ordered a combo plate with meatloaf, chicken green beans and pinto beans. Food was cold and tasteless. This is the second one I've been to in the past few months. The other visit was a different city...food was tasteless. They charged 50 cents for an additional apple butter. It's like they've lost their playback of recipes. The server was great, attentive and friendly. He replaced my pinto beans with another side that I requested. It was tasteless as well...absolutely no flavor. Because he was so nice, and we were ready to go, we didn't even tell him everything that was wrong.Corporate Cracker Barrel needs to head back to the test kitchen to improve the flavor, not just serve alcohol and charge for apple butter. I willnsay I like the space in the store...it wasn't as crowded with items being sold as all other stores are.

Cheddar cheese bites are the best and the store is fun to look through.
When you tell the server that you don't eat eggs and ask what breakfast meals do not have eggs and they say chicken and french toast, there's a problem... seemed like I had the same waitress on my last visit 2-3 months ago.
