My husband and I drove from Charlotte to meet up with my cousins who drove from Southport. It was a special event - the first time I was meeting my 88 year old cousin! The host made sure we had a private room and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We had time and space to talk and share photos, and the owner assured us we could relax and stay as long as we wanted. The hospitality, service, and graciousness of the entire staff was a treat! We will be back, thanks again.

Hole in the wall spot (Please keep hidden lol) such great food and service. Wished this place was in Jersey but happy to have found giving us a stop to enjoy while visiting son at Fort Bragg! Minutes away from Fayetteville but well worth the trip!!

After driving for 10 hours and eating nothing but fast food, I really wanted something fresh and healthy. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try and am so very glad that I did!! The Happenings salad with grilled chicken, blue cheese crumbles, craisins, nuts and the house italian dressing was Exactly what I was craving and really hit the spot!. I also ordered a side of broccoli salad, which was also delicious! Beautiful, clean restaurant with Impeccable service, I will definitely be back on my next road trip! 10/10 would recommend to family and friends!!!

We stopped here on way home to Florida from NJ. So glad we stopped. From first minute when we had help opening the door to the last sip of wine, everyone was so friendly and warm. Just what we needed after 10 hrs on the road. The wine that was recommended was just what we hoped for. We had the specials, shrimp etouffe and lasagna. The shrimp were seasoned just right. And the lasagna was delicious. Since we're Italians from South Jersey, we know our lasagna and I'd put this right up there. Hint if you go- if you can't get the front door open, just knock.

We found this Diamond of a restaurant through googling restaurants near our hotel. Never had such a wonderful experience at a restaurant. We ate at the bar and spoke with everyone from the owners Phillip and Annette Wallwork to the chef, sous chef and staff, Rebecca and Tracy. The food was delicious. We had the special which turned out to be Annette's secret recipe for lasagna. This establishment is not just a restaurant but a place for local artists to display and sell their work. Annette is an artist and her pieces and paintings are amazing. If we lived closer, it would be our "go to" restaurant every week if not more often. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome.

This was my first time trying Happenings on Elm and I’ll absolutely be back. The Cuban sandwich was delicious as well as the Caesar salad. Although I did a take out order I loved the atmosphere while picking up my order. Everyone was so friendly. Such a wonderful spot to have locally!
Drove from Fayetteville to try out this spot and wasn’t too upset when we started reading the menu. They have some good food here, and my drinks were made just right.

This was the most fabulous meal I have had in a long time. My husband and I ate here last week and had the Apricot glazed Salmon. It was divine. The wine and beer selection was amazing, and the service was top notch! We have recommended to several people since then and will definitely be back again soon!
