Off the beaten path, Happenings on Elm restaurant is fascinating, fun & very nice.After a long day of driving, my husband found us a comfortable and interesting restaurant for a glass of wine and light dinner. What I DIDNT expect was the artististic atmosphere. OMG, I loved it!Our sandwiches, a Reuben and Elm St Club, were delicious. We sat on a comfy couch as we enjoyed an appetizer and wine. Interesting Art surrounded and engaged us. Some of it was for sale and we couldn’t pass it up!What a refreshing change of pace we found for ourselves. It made our day and entire trip. Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful offerings. I get to enjoy beautiful art everyday in my home??

This was a great find in Lumberton NC on a work trip in the area. Very friendly host and servers - food is made from scratch and tasted great. Interior decor is bright and artsy. Good beer on tap and wide wine selection.

Very nice place. Art and wine for sale to take home. My dog and I come often to enjoy some food and craft beer (for me, not him). Dogs are welcome to visit in their patio area. Love this place.

Very cute restaurant and bar with very good wait staff. Would have given a higher rating but the simple meal we had nearly took an hour to prepare ( the house special, 3 tacos or a quesadilla ). We had one of each and they were so so. From this I can only recommend maybe stopping in for an adult beverage then dinner elsewhere.
