This is a diner in the classic OG sense. If you like old diners, then stop in, you'll love Bob's. I like diners and I loved it. Good coffee, good food, great staff. Will definitely stop again if I'm through Madison again.

Service of one particular waitress is just enough to make me not go back. After 15 years I'll go elsewhere.

I’ve been 2 times. The first time I got a great breakfast. The second time I got what was supposed to be chicken salad. Which tasted nothing like any chicken salad I’d ever had. Very mustardy. Was totally not a fan. I shall stick to the breakfast going forward.

I realize this is a favorite diner for everyone around here. It's been around forever. It needs remodeling desperately. The bathrooms aren't handicap friendly. The toilet is almost to the floor. The door wouldn't close all the way. I had to force it. The chairs in this place, all of them, are in need of replacement. The plastic cushioned booths are ripped and held together with tape! Come on now, I realize the prices are okay but people deserve a nicer diner. Yes, everyone is friendly and howdy doody and probably people have been coming here for years. I will not be a customer. It's my second time to watch an era passing away. The rocking chairs out front are sweet. There are no flowers to greet you. It's very sad. Please Rockingham County people deserve better.

This is our go to for great classic American food. Their daily specials are awesome. They have a great kids menu and great vegetable plates too. My personal favorite is one of the Tuesday specials: stewed beef with mash potatoes and gravy, Green beans and/or macaroni and cheese. Soooo good.

Our first time here and we arrived just before they closed. My hubby asked if they could serve us and they said yes. I had the Flounder dinner with cabbage, hush puppies and sweet potato casserole. It was a lot of food! And everything was good. We just moved to Stoneville and this was my first outing. Everyone was so welcoming and it was good to have some down home country cooking. Hubby had a burger and fries.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking right in front and I use a walker. We sat in the booth closest to the door.
