Great family owned business . The atmosphere is terrific.Everybody's very friendly and there's lots to look at. They have a small menu. For breakfast or lunch, and some good coffee products to go with it. Our only regret is not finding this gem sooner.

If you are ever traveling near Greensboro, NC, particularly in the little town of Madison, be sure to stop for a latte, an artisan handheld or a salad at the Mad Bean Cafe! The place oozes in charm and the creaky wooden floors add to the ambience. They have quite a collection of handmade crafts for sale by local crafters, fun play stations for little ones, and a piano should you feel the urge! The food was amazing—I ordered a chicken salad salad and the hubby had a chicken salad sandwich on artisan bread. Portions were excellent and the food was fresh and homemade. Service was fast and friendly! If you’ve been on the road for awhile and need a break, take a little side trip to the town of Madison and support this worthy local business.

Very cool coffee shop offering many different drink options. I also enjoyed a Brookie that was absolutely delicious. It was a delight to partake in a walking ghost tour which included this coffee shop, I would highly recommend it! My only wish was that they had postcards.

What a special place! Daniel and Tori are precious owners of this unique coffee house in Madison NC!.! I have been in many coffee houses but this is this first that offer so much more than coffee. The customer service was top notch with smiles all around and a cozy stay a while feel that welcomed me in, and the coffee, Harvest was certainly a hit!!! It was truly a highlight to our cozy fall morning. Thank you guys for a great experience! When in Madison we will be back! 5 stars for sure! We'll Done! Keep up the good work! God Bless!

Tricia and I, went to Madison today for the Fall Festival there. We were blindsided! We literally ran into the Mad Bean. We walked in, not knowing what quality coffee we would experience. Coffee was great, but greater still was the meeting of Tori and Daniel. Don't just stop in, put it on your to do list! 5 stars!
