(Maggie Valley) Beer is great but sadly gets over shadowed the food service. Time between burger and pizzas arrival was 45 minutes. Sad part is no-one was hardly there. Hate to see a busy day. 1 refill during our almost 2 hour lunch. Had to track a server down for our refill as well.

Will not be back unless management fixes this place. Very embarrassing to the brewery name..

Also the fresh burger smash burger. Was not fresh it was frozen and also was not a smash burger

Bartenders are fantastic, the COMPLETELY ORIGINAL BREWED DRAFTS ARE TASTE-BUD STUNNING, the atmosphere is awesome, the Open mic was amazing...I think (know) D Parton Jr beat Robert Plant, with making popular music with a violinist!
Long overdue, but congrats David, and it was great doing open mic/ a few gigs with you!

Food and drinks were fantastic, service was very poor for us, but the table across from us had no problems so I think we were just unlucky. Cool place to sit on the river and enjoy a beer and a burger.

Best kept secret in WNC - amazing and authentic Thai dishes, native-fusion pub fare, regular live piano music, creek-side al fresco dining and palate-tingling local brews! What’s not to like? Our go-to when we want a worthy meal out in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to the Bearwaters team, who keep coming back stronger than ever after each flood or hurricane, it seems! 🤗😎💪🏽

John truly cares about his employees and customers. Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had, best roast my parents have had and the pizza was amazing. Phenomenal service, excellent food and a fantastic atmosphere. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. If you tried it years ago and left unsatisfied, I highly suggest giving it another try.

I've visited Maggie Valley the past 3 years and this is the first restaurant that I really enjoyed and I did leave feeling like I just wasted my money. I highly recommend. Myself and the party I was with all enjoyed the delicious food and atmosphere. You may even see a Elk walk by.

The waitress we had was wonderful and the food was ok. What really got me was the pianist having a heart attack during our meal. what’s even worse is when I called to check if he was ok, the woman was super rude and hung up on me. My brother did CPR on him and the least they could do is let us know if he survived or not. Just shows the quality of their staff:( sadly disgusted and disappointed.

We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago from Canton. It’s the first time that we’ve been to the Maggie Valley location and I can’t say enough great things about it! We will definitely be back. Special shout out to the chef who made the amazing Pad Thai. I’ve been looking for authentic Pad Thai since I left the UK and moved to North Carolina. It was really fantastic! Beers, ambience and servers were amazing too!

Nice place to eat and cool atmosphere. My rating is a little lower due to some guest experiences we had but overall the restaurant was nice and food was OK. We got the Pretzel as an appetizer and it was good.

The sandwiches were ok (in short, their suppliers cause flooding changed) but not exactly what we ordered. They had a nice selection of craft beers as well.

As pictured with my review is their "chicken philly". It was OK but we weren't told about meals not being as stated due to there supply shortage. The sandwich I received is basically a chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon. The fries were delicious though! It seemed as though everything we ordered was slightly different then what the menu said.

Our server was great and had a nice sense of humor. I would give this place another chance once they're running at full steam again. Like I said it was a great place but just had some short comings due to the recent flooding but glad they were still open! I would recommend trying them out if you're in the area!
