My family ate here this evening around 8:30. The servers were phenomenal. Even though we were there close to closing time, the food was outstanding. The cashier was exceptionally friendly. My son is 10 years old and wanted a burrito but did not want veggies in it, they cooked his meal perfect to his liking. Both mine and my husband’s food was amazing!! Each staff member we had contact with was great! If you are looking for an awesome place to eat in Maggie Valley this restaurant will not disappoint! Food was very reasonably priced and service is quick. 10 outta 10, we will definitely be back!
Whether you're driving through or staying in the area, I definitely recommend this spot. The food was great, the employees were awesome and friendly, drinks were on point.I was surprised at how fast the food came out, considering how busy they were. Their sauces and seasoning were authentic and it showed within the first bite. Definitely going back!!
Don't pass this up. Looks like an afterthought as you drive by, but do yourself a favor and stop. Best authentic Mexican restaurant I have found in the area.Good menu selection, great atmosphere, I was greeted on the way on with a fist bump from all the staff lol. Food was fast, and delicious.Place was busy the whole time we were seated. Lots of locals, servers knew lots of people by name. If the locals go there, you know it's good.

Me and my finance stopped here for dinner and the food was delicious ?. I highly recommend it if you're visiting.
Stopped for a late lunch, the staff was so friendly! They treated us like we were usuals coming in, which is rare in some places around the area. It didn’t take very long for our food to come out. We had the Carne asada and Fajita quesadilla and both were amazing! It was a bit hot in the restaurant but it was also a random hot winter day. Definitely a place we will return to next time we’re in Maggie Valley!

When we get into Maggie / Waynesville to visit family the FIRST place we go to eat is Guayabitos! The BEST Mexican food anywhere - hands down - I've been to Mexico and it wasn't this good! Service is warm & Friendly - like the Mexican version of Cheers - lol. The atmosphere is warm & Friendly, a little loud sometimes when big parties come in but no matter how busy, Philipe' and the staff make you feel welcome! Personal Favorites - Fried Chimichangas w/ Re-Fried beans & Cheese & the Fajitas - none better on the planet!!!!
