Overrated - this place was good. But to be 4.8 stars and rated one of the best pancake houses in NC? I don't think it was that good. My wife and I ordered pancakes (she got blueberry). They tasted like a lot of pancakes I have gotten at other places. Maybe we ordered wrong. If you go, just don't have high expectations.

Love Joey's! Great food and friendly staff, Jamie was one of the best servers we ever encountered, and Lanel the greeter treated us as if we were friends. We will always come back here!

Very busy on the day after Easter. Staff made you feel like we were the only ones there. Also the food was great.

Good food, but the prices are high.Server was great. Everyone there was extremely nice.$13 for pancakes with no sides, and a side of bacon was $5 extra.Strawberry pancakes were great, but had like 3 strawberry's on them.Good food, but not good value.

Lots of pancake options, waffles and the like, too. Don't go here for traditional breakfast (breakfast foods not drenched in sugar). It's rather expensive. The pancakes are very standard, nothing special, just the toppings, which are pretty fun, are what differentiates them from other places. My kids obviously love it for the sugar, but given the choice I'll go anywhere else due to the cost, and the fact that you can't get hashed browns.Oh, and two of my family members report on separate occasions that they believe the corned beef hash is Hormel and wouldn't get it again.Biscuits and gravy are better than most chains, but that's a low bar
