Very good flavor on everything across the board. I’m a low country South Carolina boy. The vinegar sauce is my favorite.

pulled pork sandwiches are awful. I got dried out burnt pieces. couldn't eat it. best thing was the onion rings. however we won't be going back.

Don't think it gets better then this! The pork, collards, homemade BBQ sauces. This place is SO good

We arrived for dinner at this restaurant at 515pm on a Sunday and there were maybe two other tables of other patrons at the time. We did not receive our food for close to an hour. Our waitress was very attentive and kept apologizing but having to wait that long for food is crazy. Additionally, it was so cold in the dining room that all of us had on our hats and coats for the whole meal. The food was decent when we finally got it (though some of the items were not hot). We will not return.

Kid-friendliness: They put my sons burger toppings on the side without even asking and that’s amazing considering my son decided no to the tomato!

If you're ever in Maggie Valley, NC, you absolutely must stop by Butts on the Creek. Hands down, it's the best barbecue I've ever had! The flavors were out of this world—tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. But what made the experience even more unforgettable was the sweet couple who paid for our meal. It's true what they say—free is always tastier! The restaurant itself had a lovely view of the river, making the whole atmosphere even more enjoyable. If you're looking for amazing food and a heartwarming experience, this place is a must-visit!

The food was god awful!!! The mac n cheese were just noodles with a slice of burnt cheese layed on top(burnt completely black and unable to cut to eat). The pork sandwich was ok at best. The wings were dry and overcooked, many were black and tasted like charcoal. Of the two decently cooked wings (out of 12) they were fine. $80 for a meal I wouldn’t eat again for free. Don’t waste your time or money.
