Pop's Biscuits, Burgers & BBQ

My husband and always enjoy going there for breakfast. Last evening (Friday) we went there for dinner and had his prime rib dinner and it was delicious at a great price 😋 He is now opened for dinner on Mondays and Fridays. We plan on going back and I would highly recommend it!

Pop’s gives Joey’s a serious run for its money! Great food, huge selection, friendly atmosphere!

I had the spinach, feta omelette with tomatoes and biscuit on the side. The omelette had fresh spinach and a nice amount of feta. The tomato was freshly sliced and the biscuit was still hot! Great Breakfast. The coffee could have been a little stronger for my taste. Our waitress was very nice and came a couple of times asking if we need anything.

Pop’s Place is so charming. We parked in their overflow parking lot and hoped for a short wait. Seated after about 15 minutes, we a had a good table towards the back of the ten table dining room. Coffee and juice served right away by friendly servers. We ordered the 3 meat omelette, two egg breakfast, and kid’s pick 3. The food took a while to get due to being down a cook. Once the food arrived, it was delicious and hot. We ate every bite! If you like super crispy bacon, you won’t be disappointed! Counter check out and we were off for our day of adventures. We had so much food that we skipped lunch. Definitely a classic, no frills, Maggie Valley staple!

We went there a couple months ago because a place down the road shut down earlier on Sunday morning. The people there were so nice and so accommodating. My children have to be gluten-free and they made the most incredible gluten-free pancakes our family has ever tried and everyone in my family except for me has been gluten-free their whole lives and my wife for over 20 years. I had all the gluten, however 😎 and it was AWESOME. Nobody walked away hungry and everybody walked away absolutely having loved what they had just eaten. I wish I had pictures, but I wasn’t taking time to take pictures once I tasted the food. It was really that good. The people were super nice and we will definitely be back if ever in town again.

Prices are ridiculous. Been going for many years, multiple times each year. Not worth it any more. $9+ plain tasteless waffle. 🤣 🤣
