This place was probably the only place open on that road. The server was really nice, the burger was ok but the fries were horrible ,hard and not tasty. They used regular potatoes instead of pre bought cut fries.

Family has been trying a new restaurant in maggie valley every Sunday after our ski session and salty dog is our favorite by far. The food was amazing, BEST hushpuppies ive had ever,Bonnie our waitress was great, prices were super fair, and they even gave the kids extra quarters for the pac man game. Will be back for
Very unassuming little place. Ended up here by default because the place we wanted to go was packed. Food was excellent. They were short staffed but service was still fair. We will definitely be back.

Service took forever and they were not busy. Wanted fried fish and clams, both were very, very greasy, in fact disgustingly greasy. We talked to the waitress about the food being greasy and she said "that is what makes them good"
