Found this gem for the Ice Fest. We will be back! The place is spotless, the staff was welcoming, love that it’s pet friendly and close to brewery, restaurants, ski area, and even hosts its own bar and grill! And such a value!

I haven't stayed here but we watch the game at the bar. Great spot to catch the game, have a beer and grab some food. Sometimes packed, so grab a seat early.

This Smokey Fall Lodge is a really nice place to stay for a night or two or maybe a week. The room I'm in had a soft mattress. Only one thing bad about it you can't get ahold of the front desk. I tried with my cell phone and I tried with the phone in the room no answer the rocking chairs outside of the room and the mountain view. And I noticed a pet friendly

The room we stayed in was great. It was like a studio apartment but with no stove. We didn't visit the restaurant but could hear the music and it sounded like a good time. This place is close to everything but not too busy.Nearby activities: Walking distance to a few places like Dollar General, some souvenir shops, etc. Cataloochee Ski Area is a quick drive as well as Waynesville.Walkability: Some rooms are upstairs so if you have mobility issues you may want to keep that in mind when making your reservation.

Nice place with cafe (sports bar).I'm never a fan of 10 TVs in a cafe, but it is a sports bar. Often life music

One of our favorite places to stay in Maggie valley nc. The staff are super friendly. We love the on site bar and restaurant. Which offers great drinks, bar food, as well as comfort food at fair prices. We actually prefer their food over several restaurants in the area. Located on main st in maggie valley and only min to blue ridge parkway, Cherokee national park, local waterfalls. The rooms offer the classic bed and breakfast style charm. Some rooms even featured fireplaces or jet tubs. There's also a great patio area in back on the river. And even designated places for small fires. Exterior heat lamps are also setup for those cooler mountain nights.

Terrible, first of all pictures are NOTHING like it really is. This is plainly a simple Highway motel, it smells like sewage. I made a reservation for my honeymoon and called one week in advance to confirm and pay for my first night. When arrived they gave me a different room (I paid for the jetted tub) and once I came back to request my paid room they refused. Their solution was to “just spend the night, the reservation website probably made a mistake” and proceeded to cancel my weekend reservation and not refund even the room difference. I returned the keys and left for a neighboring hotel much more cleaner and cozy. Please do yourself a favor and give this motel a hard pass. Not worth your time and hassle

My husband and I have stayed here several times and have found it to be quaint. This time some things were off. When we checked in, there was someone asleep in our room! When I returned, the desk person was frustrated, but she gave us a better room. The room had been recently renovated and was quite spacious. Unfortunately, we ended up with the dreaded pass-through door to the room next door. I had to pound on the door to stop the loud talking and laughing so that we could sleep. The other thing that was disconcerting was that there were many dogs there. I did not remember this being allowed. I found out that the travelers are charged extra for dogs. I heard dogs barking as we went to bed, but they calmed down. Our room did not smell like dog, but another traveler told us that his room was smelly. Yuck. By the way, I am a dog lover.

We were seated quickly and put in our drink order. The came out in a reasonable amount of time. We then put in our food order and that took a really long time to out to us. The food was good. We were in a large group and the folks with us didn't get their food until after we were done eating. That was just bad service. Probably won't be going back.
