The food was OK. I would say it's more a bar than a restaurant.

Good service, reasonable prices, but it was too loud. Obviously there were a few who had too much to drink, stood in the way instead of sitting at the bar or at a table; and very loud and lively conversations.
Parking: Plenty of spots to park.

Great outside atmosphere and music. My hamburger was tasty. Most wonderful staff. It was my mom's birthday and they treated her like a queen.
Our first stop entering town. They just opened and we were the first customers. Pleasant bar, food was good and so was the service. Enjoyed the pictures in the lobby of some of our favorite moonshiners. RIP Popcorn.

Great place to hang out, grab some drinks, and eat some bar food! The creek behind the tavern is really nice. They Also have live music and an outdoor bar !!! Stephanie, Amy, and Adrian ? are super attentive and always make sure we are taken care of no matter how busy it gets. Definitely, will be returning.

Great place to grab some food, watch the game, do some karaoke or hear some live music! Staff is always friendly. Especially Sabrina. Shes a doll 🩷

My fiancé and I travel to North Carolina a couple of times a year and thanksgiving afternoon we were searching for something to do after the casino and wondered into the Valley Tavern. They had closed just before we got there to celebrate thanksgiving with their family, but instead of turning us away they welcomed us with open arms. We returned every day after just due to the hospitality they showed us and every time we walked in the door we felt so welcome and very well taken care of. They have a beautiful back patio area overlooking the creek. We will ALWAYS frequent the tavern when in the area!
