Besides being clean, not crowded, great tea, (I am picky),, the food was awesome.... Everything hot, and the taste was sooooo good.... Been years since I have had a BBQ sandwich that good..... I will be back....
If your in the hickory area and looking for home cooking, don't pass up scotties. Friendly service and fresh, hot, home cooked food. The ribs fall off the bone and the BBQ pork has great flavor. Occasionally they have home cooked pies and deserts as well. You wont be dissatisfied with any items on the menu.

Great customer service as well as good food! Another one of our go-to resultants in maiden! Love this place! Their salad bar is usually well stocked and delicious, along with the with their special on Wednesday (it’s like some sort of chicken) is REALLY good! Highly recommend!!
