We were there for New Years Eve Dinner . The food was excellent and the service was great as well. I would definitely dine there again. Beautiful atmosphere overlooking the water. Very pleased.
We had a lovely meal here after traveling most of the day. We were tired and simply expecting to eat and go to our room. What we had instead was a delicious dinner with a personable waitstaff and a charming atmosphere. My husband was happy to see that Cider was available (his favorite). I had the Ribeye and was very pleased with the preparation. Rare is often difficult for less experienced chefs to prepare but that was not the case here. The steak was prepared perfectly...
For years we've visited the 1587 to enjoy a creative and we'll prepared dinner. The service has always been good and views of the harbor relaxing. The growing popularity of the restaurant has led the noise level to increase, so a quiet dinner cannot always be expected.
