The beef was fantastic. The shrimp and coleslaw, ok. The fries were, unfortunately, soggy and cool to the touch. The staff, I only met one, was pleasant and welcoming.

I'm an out of towner who visited while on an OBX vacation in October.

This place is EXACTLY what I was looking for at lunchtime with my family (wife & two young kids).

The people were all extremely friendly. We were, as far as I could tell, the only non locals in the place (always a good sign to me).

I've had BBQ in all the top BBQ cities & a bunch of famous BBQ restaurants. The food here was excellent 👌🏼 I'll absolutely be back next year.

Two beef brisket plates . We were NOT disappointed with the brisket!
Excellent Cole slaw, and brisket, normal beans, plate could be larger, sides were on the small side.
If you like crunchy fries have them cook them longer.

Solid local BBQ joint. Delicious pork, chicken or brisket along with traditional sides. No frills dining on the screened in deck (it's covered during cold weather). And they cater too.
