Everything tasted bland and like it was bought in a bag and cooked in old oil. House chips are just soggy fries with no seasoning. Everything is super dry. Extremely pricey for the quality of the food. The worker was nice but the food did not make up for it. Tables were not clean, and food tasted pre-packaged. Seemed to be more focused on their political flags and stickers rather than food quality.

Just about the best drive-in BBQ joint I've ever been to! We went to a lot of hoity-toity places while in OBX for a week. This place had the best food of any of them.

As per our daughter , “This is the most North Carolina thing, and I love it .” This was a great very casual , GREAT north Carolina BBQ joint we stopped at on our way home .

Amazing bbq! The shrimp was FANTASTIC! The brisket, beans, and hush puppies were PHENOMENAL! Highly highly recommend!

A great barbeque restaurant that everyone enjoyed. We had brisket, pulled pork, and chicken tenders, and we all said that it was very good. There are a few different BBQ sauces to try, and plenty of sides to choose from. The sitting portion of the restaurant isn't the largest, so it could possibly get cramped, but there was no issue when we went. The cook was super nice while we were there too.

They guys working here are sweet. Great food. Cool place with great vibes. 😎

Food ok but not great. Hamburger made of chuck, which is not a great meat so tasted greasy. For a burger tough and hard to cut. Sweet potato fries greasy and limp. Hush puppies were very good.

We were here on vacation and wanted an affordable, authentic, and yummy place to eat. Our favorite thing about the place was the atmosphere which is exactly what we were looking for. The food was good as well with the location being easy to find! 😃

Love the old time dive vibes. The food was amazing, finally true Esstern NC style BBQ. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful! We will be back!

The food was horrible, tasted like soap from the amount of grease. So much grease it went through the parchment paper through the box and on the table. It tasted horrible, service was great though
