Went there tonight for first time. I got sushi amd my friend got their BBQ sandwich which was huge. The owner is GREAT ,good service and comfy place to enjoy ur food. I definitely recommend it. Amd will be back more amd more. Love ho the inside is done. Has upstairs amd down stairs. Very friendly fun place.

I absolutely love this place. It’s unlike anything else the outer banks has to offer. It’s tiny, so don’t come with more than 3 people. The food is outstanding!!! Quick service also and fair prices. My wife and I ate for $19 total and were stuffed!

The atmosphere is great, and the Mac bowls are so good!! Staff is great, service is A plus! Husband had the sliders and said they were some of the best! They sell Pimento cheese by the pound and it’s worth it! New favorite place in Manteo. Very down to earth and a cool place to have beers! We will be back for sure.

A relative new restaurant for Manteo located in the Chesley Mall. It has a unique partial second floor for dining, and has but a few tables. The menu is also unique, and highlights their Pimento Cheese and Mac and Cheese combinations. Other sandwiches and plates are also offered. We found the food well prepared and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. This is not a fine dining establishment, but well worth finding and enjoying. Yes, it was our first visit, and we will be returning.
Why has no one thought of this before? A restaurant dedicated to Pimento Cheese!!!! It's the best idea I've heard in forever! Far Out Cafe offers classic menu items that include pimento cheese - sandwiches, sliders, pizzas, wraps, quesadillas, etc. and they have an array of pimento cheese flavors including a 'pimento cheese of the months flavor (this month its buffalo chicken pimento cheese). But there is so much more here. Creative shakes (Peanut Butter and Jelly and Birthday Cake are 2 examples), salads, other entrees for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is super cozy too with an upstairs that's really fun. The staff is friendly too and very accommodating. Enjoy when you go and you'll add this spot to your restaurant rotation!

Great service, excellent food, reasonable prices! What else can you ask for! Oh, they accodated our large party very well! I plan to go back as do most in our party! All the dishes were well prepared and the manager even brought us out a complimentary appetizer that was delicious!

A new eatery in Manteo! You’ve got to try it out! We didn’t know what to expect, but we came away raving & planning when we could return. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, with an emphasis on pulled pork & pimento cheese. We had the pulled pork pimento cheese nachos—these were Southern nachos! During the first bite we both moaned in delight at the exquisite taste of nachos with pork, cheese, bbq sauce & a drizzled dressing. The “plate” was enough for both of us. I accompanied the nachos with a pomegranate sunrise mimosa. Made with saki instead of champagne, it was a true taste delight! We saw an order of sliders & chicken sandwich being delivered to a nearby table—scrumptious looking. Can’t wait to go back & try those dishes. It’s Far Out delicious!
