Apparently Thursdays crew are the mad at the world group, someone sliced the meat, someone topped the sub and someone rings it up, now you would think out of three employees, you would get at least one greeting, one smile, one thank you, nope not a single one.

I worked at a Jersey Mikeās in NC for 12 years. I managed a store, trained plenty of hires, and even got direct training from the franchise higher-ups. I know how these stores are supposed to run.
Because of that, Iām usually a little let down when I visit most locations. Itās the small stuff: not enough cheese, too light on the vinegar and oil, or missing the little details that make all the difference. Itās not the end of the world, but I notice. That said, I still go backāJersey Mikeās makes the best subs in their category, even if theyāre not always correct.
The Manteo location, though, is different. This store operates the way the franchise intends. The sub they made me wasnāt just goodāit reminded me of my time working at a top-rated and awarded Jersey Mikeās. Back then, my team and I cared about the work, and it feels like this team cares too.
Honestly, it was the best sub Iāve had in not years, but decades. It was made perfectly.

Iām an OBX local who used to go to this location pretty regularly up until recently due to order inaccuracy and now I will never go back. Today my parents picked up a bowl for me, and told staff that there should be no peppers or onions (because I have food sensitivities) and they put both. Not only that, but there was a special guest: this lovely DEAD FRUIT FLY on the pickle, pictured. SO gross. They didnāt give my parents a receipt either, so I lost my money. At the very least, please take care of your fruit fly problem. Thanks for nothing
