Man, I love this place, the mostrito, the pollo a la brasa, any of the especials….agua fresca….everything is so good
Best spot in Manteo. Always delicious and with excellent service.

The food was AMAZING. Everything was well seasoned and hot. The staff was friendly. Service was a bit slow. And there wasn't much to the atmosphere beyond a few paintings. You definitely come here for the food.

None of the food tasted fresh. At all.
One of the best local restaurants in the Outer Banks featuring Peruvian fare along with Mexican favorites. A "go to" choice for takeout dinner.

Tacos!!
The food was good and the options were great, was able to get Asian type food with Mexican chips and cheese sauce.. They have a lot of variety on menu and the folks working there were extremely friendly and welcoming! I would go back again for sure!
My only “issue” was the steak I got mixed in my lo mein style noodles was chewy, I would prefer a bit better cut but I get it

We were staying in Outer Banks for a few days and we were hungry for something different. Being Peruvian I’m always on the lookout for Peruvian cuisine. I have eaten Peruvian food in 4 different states (California, Tennessee, Virginia and now North Carolina) and disappointed in both North Carolina and Virginia. We decided to give this place a shot. Overall the food was not bad but that doesn’t mean it was great. The interesting thing is that they serve both Peruvian food as well as Mexican. Definitely an odd combination since they have nothing in common. It was overpriced and not worth returning to in the future. Again…not bad food but it could have been better.

The mahi ceviche is to die for! Some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had outside of Peru. Best enjoyed spicy. The chowder was great as well. A real gem in the heart of Manteo staffed by some lovely people.

Polite staff, inviting atmosphere, and some really great Peruvian dishes. Half chicken was well seasoned, moist and fresh, and I haven’t found ceviche THIS good outside of Miami. We’ll be back again!
