Told my grandson I was taking him to a great place to get a homemade burger. Boy sis I lie to him can’t believe how down hill the food had gone since last year. The burgers were burnt and we got them all the way except all the way meant nothing on it all you could taste was burnt burger no slaw or chilli guess they have gotten stingy with their food but it sure wasn’t cheap plus a 15% tip what the heck. One of the best burgers you will eat! We regularly travel from Bakersville just to come there to eat. They give you a large portion of french fries as well. The only pet peve is they are VERY stingy with the ketchup, i got 1 pack with my meal and i asked for some extra,,,, they gave 2 extra packets, thats about 6 packets short for the amount of fries you get, i understand that some people are wasteful but I guess I'm going to have to bring my own bottle with me. BIGGEST BURGER IVE GOTTEN IN MCDOWELL!! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! slaw and chili were very good and my sweet tea was delicious too
