Told my grandson I was taking him to a great place to get a homemade burger. Boy sis I lie to him can’t believe how down hill the food had gone since last year. The burgers were burnt and we got them all the way except all the way meant nothing on it all you could taste was burnt burger no slaw or chilli guess they have gotten stingy with their food but it sure wasn’t cheap plus a 15% tip what the heck. Have to find another place to eat in Marion should have went to Hardee’s I guess.

Best Burger and Onion Rings around. Friendly service each time I visit.
We were passing through the area, and wanted a quick lunch. The reviews for this place made us stop, and we were all really glad we did! The bbq sandwiches were great honestly, but the star here, and what I overheard all the locals ordering, was the burger. Wowzers. Remember being really hungry, and Mom knew how to hit the spot with homemade burgers that made you wonder how in the world she made them? This is that. The onion rings are among the best we’ve eaten, ever. Just perfect. It reinforces my theory about “walk-up” type places, that they’re pretty often the best spots. When you see cars of locals stopping in North Carolina, just stop. You’ll be treated to a surprise like the hut.

One of the best burgers you will eat! We regularly travel from Bakersville just to come there to eat. They give you a large portion of french fries as well. The only pet peve is they are VERY stingy with the ketchup, i got 1 pack with my meal and i asked for some extra,,,, they gave 2 extra packets, thats about 6 packets short for the amount of fries you get, i understand that some people are wasteful but I guess I'm going to have to bring my own bottle with me. Overall a great place to eat and will continue making the trip when I'm craving a great burger.
