Our first visit in 10 years! So impressed with our server, Maria. She didn’t a great job making sure we had everything we wanted plus she was so friendly and very sweet! We are going to be back to eat and visit with Maria.

you should stop serving frozen fish out of a box... the beer battered fish is AWFUL!!!

We just moved to Marion 4 months ago. I don’t do many reviews but Hook and Anchor has been my favorite find!

I love the flounder and popcorn shrimp, the baked sweet potatoes are delicious!

They also have a senior discount.

Ordered 3 ribeyes all came too rare. Salad bowls were very small for their house salads. Overall, though the salads were fresh, the fried mushrooms were fantastic and crispy. The steak was the only thing that threw me. The service was fantastic, though.

Horrible! Place hasn't changed in over 30 or more years. They yell over a speaker system for servers. My seat was busted. Every time the man in the booth behind me got up, I sunk to the floor, and when he sat back down, I felt like I was going to catapult into the ceiling. The grilled chicken I got was like a dried out piece of leather! However, the coleslaw was good. Place was just plane boring. I want go back there again.

Just went tonight, Oct 20, 2024. Sat their with our menus in hand for 10 min, and I'm not exaggerating. Never came and and got our drink order, but waited on people that came in after us and sitting all around us. Needless to say, we got up and left. They lost about a 60 dollar order and we left with a bad taste in our mouth. Certainly will not be back.

Was here on storm work. All the ladies were very attentive and made sure we had drinks and food. I appreciate how much time they had spent taking care of us in such a disastrous time!

Great food. Everything tasted very fresh and was served quickly. The catfish was very good, and I really liked the okra too. I was surprised this place wasn't busier.
