The place is dark uninviting...they don't wipe off tables when someone leaves. I sat down table was dirty from the last person. Chicken was good but I got steak tasted FAKE and old. Dull no seasoning. DONT GET STEAK one bite I though it was nasty...Health department might should check that steak out...wasn't cooked red inside...like a nasty kinda red...like undercooked. Smelled too... took 22 minutes I timed it...one order? Restaurant wasn't busy ? Go to Narras people are nice there. There clean.

Kid who answers the phone and takes the orders is SUPER rude. You can tell he is an entitled, bored, snarky teen. If the owners plan on surviving with happy customers and good reviews and reputation, they need to seriously talk with their children who work for them or not allow them to work there in particular. With that said, the actual food in general isn’t even worth the bad attitude you get from the kid(s) or the money you spend there to support the business. Nara’s is where I will (you should) spend hard earned money from now on.

This is my FAVORITE Japanese restaurant! I live about 40 minutes away from Marion, but when I am wanting Japanese cuisine this is where I will always choose. The employees are all friendly, the atmosphere is calm and nice to dine in! My husband and I love the freshness and flavor of their food. It’s absolutely delicious!! 10/10 recommend!
Pictured: I get the teriyaki chicken combo with white rice and no veggies. My husband gets the teriyaki chicken (fried rice) combo also but adds a side of zucchini and onions.

Had Drs appointments today. Goggled this restaurant.. The reviews are high. Now I see why.. I’ve order the hibachi chicken and getting fried rice as well.. Place is extremely busy with take out orders..
Vegetarian options: Leave out the meat on any order!!!
Dietary restrictions: Everything is made to order just ask for your specific needs ..
Parking: Strip mall. Side entrance to mall can be tricky if you come of Mill rd. Not big rig or trailer friendly
Kid-friendliness: The kids are hanging out!!
