I will tell you, this restaurant never fails to provide excellent food CONSISTANTLY! I have had many items here including pizza, wings, salads, philly cheese steaks, soup, and calzones and baked spaghetti .I have honestly had better meatballs but everything else I have tried SURPASSED other Italian restaurants I have tried. The creamy tomato soup is out of this world and I am not even a soup person but tried this because it was recommended to me by a coworker and I am soooo glad I did. It tastes very much like a vodka pasta sauce actually,,,,just SOOO YUMMY!

Called a week ahead to see if we can order 6 pizzas for my wedding 10/28 for a 4:30 pm delivery. They said to call the morning on 10/28 and tell them the timed order is for 4:30 and that it's delivered through a delivery service. That's fine. As long as that time is doable we would be happy. We called around noon to place the order and made sure it was timed for later. We received the pizza on time from the driver to the venue but the pizza looked like it had sat out for HOURS. It was cold, dried up and hard. I wish I had taken a picture of it but I was trying to just enjoy my wedding. I will never ever go back there. Pizza was ONE thing I wanted at my wedding and everyone there said it was dry and cold. We had almost a whole XL and a half left over pizza that went into the trash because nobody wanted to take it. When someone places a $160 pizza order and calls several times to make sure it can be timed for later, please don't make the pizza right away and let it sit out for hours. Especially if someone tells you it's for their WEDDING.

The hurricane shut our restaurants in Spruce Pine down. After voting the other day, I wanted to keep with my personal tradition of treating myself to a good meal in a good restaurant. My only choice was to go down the mountain to Marion. I drove to where most of the eateries are, near I-40 to a little strip mall. I spied a Chinese Buffet and headed that way. But my eye caught a sign that advertised Italian food. So, I adjusted my course. I spent seven years in the Navy. I've eaten real Italian Food in Naples, Italy. And this restaurant surprised me with the best lasagna I've eaten since I was in Naples. As it turns out, the two owners are from... wait for it... Naples, Italy. This is my new favorite restaurant. If you love Italian food, you need to make a plan to dine at Luisa's

Consistently is the first problem with this restaurant. I walk by all the time and thought maybe I'll give them another shot. Should have kept walking. First time I got the Alfredo with chicken and it was pretty good. The chicken was very bland but my salad was good and I had no real issues. The second time I got the Caesar salad and the Alfredo again with veal. The sauce was much different in flavor this time around and the veal tasted as cheap as you can get it. Now had the food not made me sick I wouldn't be writing this right now but I will not be back to the establishment. The food was not worth the $26 that I had paid much less the service. Very sorry I hope this gets better in the future

We met a friend driving through for dinner. This was a surprise to find in a strip mall next to walmart. There are actual chefs in the kitchen. We had the vegetable Stromboli, which was quite good. The atmosphere was nice and we were not rushed. There was an extensive authentic Italian menu. Buon apetito!

Delicious cheese pie. Wonderful experience overall.
I had high hopes for this place, but after tonight, I’m absolutely heartbroken. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, expecting the rich, creamy comfort I know and love. Instead, what I received was a watery, flavorless disaster that tasted worse than hospital food. The sauce was so thin it barely clung to the pasta, and there was absolutely no depth—no garlic, no cheese, nothing. Just bland, sad noodles swimming in what can only be described as Alfredo soup.
To make matters worse, they had the audacity to charge $17 for this mess! I’ve had better meals in cafeterias, and I left feeling ripped off and disappointed. I’m not sure what’s worse—the Alfredo or the fact that I was looking forward to it all day. Save your money and your taste buds—go anywhere else.
