Today, at 10:30 a.m. myself and my family went to this McDonald's. Upon arrival in the drive through, I ordered the food and patiently waited for the line to move. I am a type 1 Diabetic. I calculated the Carbs for the meal and dosed my insulin for the Carbs while waiting in the drivethrough. Upon my arrival to the first window, the worker stated she cannot accept my u.s. currency. I asked why. She stated that she was told that she cannot accept $100.00 bills. I told her I had no other way to pay, and I had just ordered my food and needed the exception. I also conveyed I understood it was not her fault but I was unaware of them not accepting u.s. currencies of $100.00 bills. She asks for help from her manager. Her manager comes to the window. I attempted to explain that I had just dosed for insulin. She would not allow the explanation and told me that the company does not accept the $100.00 bills and I could leave and go break it somewhere to lower bills. I told her I do not have the 30 mins time to take that advice and asked for the accomodation of accepting the $100.00 as there was no disclaimer posted anywhere in the drivethrough stating that they cannot accept $100.00 bills. I am currently anticipating the liklihood of me having to go to the Emergency Room as McDonald's not only refused service to me after I had dosed insulin and tried to pay with u.s. currency, but would not allow the time of day to allow me to explain the urgency. Instead, the manager was dismissive and rude and interrupting me, as well as accusing me of having counterfeit bills. I attempted to use the number posted on the door to contact Patrick and Heather Joyner and the number doesn't work. I hope that my dosage can be met with the Carbs necessary somewhere else as McDonald's obviously doesn't care about type 1 diabetics.

Seriously!?! Who in the actual world is running this place??? Absolute joke of an establishment. Rude people in the drive thru, cold food, and long service times. The icing on the cake is that the clowns that own this franchise are based out of hickory but when you call the number, nobody answers and nobody calls back. Seriously, dumpster fire of an establishment.

Management is thw worst. Idk who the GM is thwre but they need to be fired. And thw way the other managers speak to the employees is beyond me. Not to mention I seen a dew employees ans managers go outaides ans once amd to thw bathroom but not once washed thwre hands. Everyone stands around talking and eating andbsaying disrespectful things about the drive thru customers...

If I could rate them of zero I would every time I go in there to pick up a doordash customers are always standing around waiting 30 plus minutes on food they will ignore you on the front line and only pay attention to drive through then can't even have the common decency to tell you they're waiting on something they just look at you like you're dumb do not ever waste your money or spend money here

They want us to use the app just to have to pull to a spot and waited 14 min while multiple people get there food behind us and leave. Wasn't the app to make things faster but it does the exact opposite. Then we get her order it's wrong so then they have to bring out extra stuff that they forgot. Then when we get home looking a bag Fry's have been dumped upside down it's just a complete mess.
