Todd's Golden Fried Chicken Reviews
I waited inside for an hour in a tender meal only to have it located in the drive thru window. When asked to speak to a manager, she conveniently just left to run to the store. I asked for a refund and was told I would have to wait on her to get back so I asked for a fresh meal. Once again waiting. Never again will I come to this establishment. After speaking to someone that was “in charge” I did receive a discount and had to continue to wait on my meal to be fixed again....read full review
Placed an order on the phone, arrived to pick it up and it had never been sent to the kitchen. Reorder the food and wait. Food comes to my car but I’m missing sauces and a side. I ask and it gets brought back out to me. I get home and am making plates to feed the family and I was still missing half of the chicken I ordered. I called three times before I got an answer. The woman on the phone left me on hold for 10 minutes, enough time for me to have almost made it back to the...read full review

Todd's Golden Fried Chicken has been a favorite for years, known for its best chicken in the world. The food is often described as awesome, with fresh fryer oil taste and a variety of popular items. The chicken liver plate is a highlight, and the salt & pepper catfish is praised as among the best catfish, light, clean tasting, and never slimy. Other staples include chicken strips, potato wedges, corn nuggets, and the house ranch dressing, which is so good that people would fight for the last drop. Mac and cheese is hit or miss, while the seafood is delicious.
Service is quick and friendly, with ample portions. The seating is plenty but a little hard. The restaurant is clean, though some reviewers note that the floors are filthy and that the inside feels more like a fast‑food joint than a restaurant. Prices have risen just a little but remain reasonable. A senior discount is available for older customers but must be requested. Drinks are self‑served, which some find weird. Food can be spot on or overcooked, and sometimes seasoning is lacking or items are out of stock, but overall the food never disappoints for those seeking homestyle, country cooking.
