High quality eats, several unique options like the fried bologna sandwich. The fries were especially good. Two dollar beers are a delightful bargain ss well. Very nice and welcoming staff! Also LOVE the name!

Got the pizza. It was awesome. Worth the walk from the Comfort Inn up the hill.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jimmy Munch Box – Mars Hill, NC
Stopped here for lunch and honestly wasn’t expecting much since it’s tucked away behind another building… but WOW. What a hidden gem!
The cheese sticks were hands-down the best I’ve ever had — solid 10/10. We split a calzone, and it was huge… easily enough for three people. And the Oreo cheesecake? Let’s just say it was every bit as good as the one from that factory — IYKYK 😂❤️
Absolutely worth the stop. We’ll definitely be back!

Jimmy's Munch Box is, in my humble opinion, the best place to eat in Mars Hill. If this place weren't tucked behind a Subway in a tiny shopping center, it'd probably be a smash hit, I just don't think many people notice it despite the charmingly flashy sign.
Several reviews mention the cheese sticks. Yes, they live up to the hype. One order of these things is enough for about three people. They're huge, hot, and have a ton of cheese in them. I also highly recommend the wings. Always extremely fresh, well-seasoned, and taste amazing. Also, all beers, draft or canned, are only $2! You can't beat that anywhere around here!
The only complaint I have is that as of writing this review, the menu on their website is currently empty. There's no way to see what they offer or what their prices look like online. I don't know if this is related to the AI photos other people mentioned, or if it's because they're updating pricing or just general menu changes, but it's been empty for a few months, now. Would love to see it come back!
If you're in the Mars Hill/Marshall area or if you'll be passing by sometime, you have to check this place out!

This little place is hidden back in the parking lot. It’s got a comfortable lunchtime vibe! The menu is extensive and the food we had surpassed our expectations. The cheese “sticks” are fresh and huge… 1 serving is more than enough for 2 or 3 people. The pizza dough is soft but not chewy; I tried the Jimmy Mac, a unique twist on a Big Mac. The chicken in the wraps were all cooked perfectly and were delicious! The service was fabulous! We sat at the bar and chatted with Jackie while we ate. There were also private tables and outside seating.

I'm not going to lie, I've lived in Mars Hill for a while now, and when this place opened, I passed a lot of judgment, thinking it had to be bad. The location doesn't look great, the name is a little silly, and I thought for sure it wouldn’t succeed. Shame on me.
Finally, my family and I went tonight and were immediately blown away by the service. Devon gave us the whole rundown about the restaurant, the meaning behind the name, how they prepare all of the food fresh, and what all was on their menu. Their beer, both cans and drafts, are only $2!!!
The food was surprisingly delicious. The wings were some of the best I've had in this area, the mozzarella stick WERE the best, the pizzas were unique and original, the burger was tasty, the Philly cheesesteak was small but delicious, the BLT was huge, and the chicken sandwich was sweet and crunchy. I'm very impressed overall and feel like a total jerk for judging them for no reason.
Also, their lunches are only $7.
Stop sleeping on Jimmy's Munch Box. Get in there and support local!
