Mars Hill American Grill

I called at 3pm to see if they were open because the day before they had closed due to staffing issues, the day before that I stopped by to get some ice cream and they were cleaning the machine so I also wanted to also double check that it was working. They said they were cleaning it and it would take 30 minutes to an hour. That was fine because my wife is pregnant and has been craving soft serve ice cream so I was determined to get it for her since I’ve been trying for what is the third day in a row. I called again at 4:30 to see if it was done being cleaned because I didn’t want to drive the 20 minutes there if it wasn’t done yet. When I asked, the guy that answered the phone proceeded to laugh at me and tell his coworkers why I was calling. Another guy told him I had called 4 times today, which is not true, and then laugh about it too. The guy that answered then told his coworkers he didn’t want to talk to me and hung up the phone. I was already a little aggravated that I couldn’t get my wife the ice cream she’s been wanting but I understand that you can’t control cleaning machines and staffing issues. This behavior towards a customer over the phone however is completely uncalled for. My sister in law also stopped by on her way home from work to get it for her and they told her it would be tomorrow until it’s up again. I would’ve been fine with that answer which would have took him 5 second to tell me but hanging up on a customer is just completely rude and uncalled for. This employee needs to learn to show some basic human decency. And when I tried to call back it doesn’t even ring, just goes to a message about their voicemail not being set up.

Excellent juicy cheesy and messy Philly cheese steak for a great price

It would have been better if the hotdog bun had been warmed. It was hard on both ends

The food was made fresh and tasted delicious. Great prices too! The cheeseburger meal included onion rings and a drink. The chili cheese fries were crispy. Shake options are vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate.

Good food for the dollar, I suggest trying the sausage and gravy biscuits.

Just stopped at American Grill in Mars Hill on the way back to the cabin, and the food is great. I ordered the American grill burger,chicken filet sandwich, mozzarella sticks, chili cheese tots, cheese fries, and finally, a hotdog. Everything was great and no complaints.

We needed gas and a place to rest. They had some wild peas growing off the side of the pavement. Lady's were nice and helpful inside.

Now for a gas station food stop. This place is amazing Their wings are great. And to be honest me and my wife go here from time to time just for the wings and fries. Everything else is good omg there shakes are great. Give it a shot you won't be disappointed.
