I thought I'd give this,mplace a second try - basically because I live in Mars hill sndf we only have like 4 places to eat - including the Waffle House.Well, the place is still dirty, although the waitress was nice enough. I got an app of onion rings. No flavor and burned. Then I got a burger, good enough, with a mound of fries that took up 3/4 of the plate. This place is excellent. Was looking for some food as we were passing through and we're going to check out the burrito place down the street. They were closed and we ended up at stack house. Very happy we did. Me and my girlfriend spilt the platter plate and everything was great. Pulled Pork, Brisket, wings, and sides. We're from out of town but definitely get back by again if we can. The best place to eat in Mars Hill. I usually get the Rocky Ridge Fries but tonight I switched it up and got the Dry Ridge Sandwich which had Fried chicken, goat cheese (which sold me) and grilled apples(also sold me) and honey mustard. I got it on sourdough bread which was beautiful and so filling. It is very socially distanced and they explain the strict mask rules at the doo. You have to call shed for dine in so don't expect to walk in anymore.
