Classic Marshall staple. One of the best burgers in the Madison/Buncombe county area. Not expensive, great variety, and friendly staff. Huge and open sitting area. It's been here for decades and I hope it stays!

The food here is guilty good. I have been eating their French fries since I was in the high school on the hill. I graduated in 1986 and they are still the best fries anywhere. I had the hamburger and fries and loved it. My daughter had the hot dog and stole my French fries. Hubby had cheeseburger all the way and fries. Their chicken sandwich is also good as well as their cole slaw. Great place to eat!

Great food, friendly service, small town feel. I love places like this. I love seeing the parking lot slam packed for lunch hour. Ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits for breakfast that were great!! I’m about to stop by for a burger for lunch too! If you’re looking for a quick, hot, fresh meal - definitely stop in. This a great place for breakfast and lunch. I was a disaster responder assigned to Marshall and I ate here every day.
These people are great. They have good food.
Plus they have great service. I went there and they had a sign on their door that said cash only and at the moment I didn't have any cash and walked away. They sent a customer out to tell us to come back and they would feed us regardless.
Thank you and burger parlor employees. You guys are great. I really enjoyed the burger. I'm definitely going to eat there again when I come thup there again.

Very very American. Cheap, and actually yummy food. Maybe the fries isn't gourmet, but it's fresh and what I feel like America is missing from its fast food empire-- the return to simplicity, no logos or crazy marketing schemes and pricing.
There was a sweetheart to take orders and sassy signs about how to treat serviceworkers. I'm from Indiana but I felt at home here in the large mostly empty diner with a pool table and video games. I feel very sentimental even though it was my first time and I usually eat pretty clean. (Who doesn't love a guilty pleasure after a fancy retreat?)
