My chopped barbecue sandwich was like the barbecue I grew up with in Charlotte-absolutely fabulous. Smoky and flavorful. Greens were excellent and fried okra yummy. So glad you are here. Thank You!

Was passing through the area and stopped here for some lunch. So glad I did. The food was delicious, good size portions and reasonably priced. The part that impressed me most was the atmosphere. Not only the workers were great and friendly, the patrons were very welcoming too. If you’re going to be near the area this restaurant is a must.

Had the best BBQ of my life here. The brisket is to die for. The pulled pork was out of this world. And do not sleep on the chicken, it’s unbelievably good. Beans, greens, cornbread, and fixins were delicious. All while sitting adjacent to the bait and gun shop.
