Had the Max & Cheese bowl. Awesome. It was warm enough the week before Thanksgiving to sit outside. Nice to see downtown businesses recovering from Helene.

Lord help It was a perfect day to eat on the patio. I just moved to the area and was getting my tags for my vehicle in town and decided to Google best restaurant near me. Super cool building. Super cool history and off the chart. Good food and good service. This will be a frequent stop as a new resident of Weaverville.
The cauliflower salad was unbelievable! Can't wait to come back and try the beet salad and the quinoa bowl!!

A Marshall staple. Food is great. The rainbow bowl and chicken and waffles are our go-tos. The patio is the place to be when the sun is shining.

Absolutely excellent. Inside and out. We loved our meal at Zadie’s in Marshall. Such a cool, old building. Right on the river. I got a cheeseburger and fries. It was SO delicious. I could taste the freshness in the beef, bun, and toppings. The in-house pickles were so so good! Hand cut fries. Simply can’t be beat. The love of my life got the grilled cheese with tomato soup and loved it! Oozing with cheese grilled cheese with bacon onion jam. Excellent soup too. The vibe is awesome. We sat outside with the beautiful people. Such a great time. I bought a couple of post cards to send to the fam from jail. Highly recommended.

Great lunch spot! I had a Rainbow Bowl and it was perfect. I was so happy to see Marshall with the same happy faces and some businesses reopening. Marshall is on its way back!

Zadie’s was a great lunch spot on the river! We stopped by for wine and a bite in the old jail house. The restaurant is situated right on the French Broad and looks great after recovering from Hurricane Helene. Definitely give them a try!

We can't say enough nice things about Zades! we've been coming here for years and this is our first meal since the Helene flooded Marshall, and we are so ❤️ the Gluten free options! thanks!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The food is so good and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We are visiting from Wisconsin and here in Marshall for a week. We have been multiple times and plan on going more before we leave. The Zadie bird and beet salad are my absolute favorite! My husband loves the chicken and waffles. The chicken and the waffles are gluten free. They have great shrimp and grits and the rainbow bowl was delicious too!

Dietary restrictions: Well marked in the menu and accommodates your needs. I am gluten free and it was superb!
