I ordered off door dash, they did not give me all of my food that I ordered, the broccoli tasted disgusting to the point I spat it out… I’m surprise the only the edible in my order was 2 chicken tenders and a drink… I’ve waited a long time When I was a kid I would get it once every few years but when I became an a adult I gotten it like 5 times imcluding todays order my point is this might be the last time I order it , I’ve literally worked in the food industry now for 8 years and made sure to give out good quality food… look for hire cooks that put pride in the food they make

I had not been to Captain D's in years, but my husband suggested that we stop at the one in Matthews for lunch. I was impressed. The two young men at the counter were pleasant, and a big plus was the grade A98 on the wall. The food was hot and crispy and the coleslaw tasted fresh. It was a good choice.

Dining room temp was at 68° way too cold. Very uncomfortable. What's worse is the foul cussing and filthy language from the cooks.we could hear them swearng and cussing while we waited for our order. Horrible experience. Never will we go to this site again. Foul words. It was aweful.

So I brought my granddaughter here for lunch and we were impressed. If you wondered where the $5-6 specials went, look no further! They have several, and the food is hot and service fast! Very pleasant wait staff as well!

I haven't eaten in a Captain Dee's this nice since I was a kid in 2010. Most Captain Dee's seem run down now with mediocre service and low quality food. This location was ANYTHING BUT THAT. I was greeted by Latosha who took my order. She was so friendly and sweet for the job she works, I've never had such a wonderful experience at a Captain Dee's with that kind of service. Aside from her beautiful spirit, my food was DELICIOUS. everything was piping hot and super fresh! I had the blackened tilapia with rice, green beans and steamed broccoli. I will only go to this Captain Dee's location and I highly recommend it. Please give Latosha a raise.
