I just want to say that I ordered a shrimp tacos ? with corn tortillas and were delicious with sour cream tomato lettuce avocado and ask for horchata was absolutely delicious!!

The ONLY saving grace of this place was the server. This was the absolute worst Mexican food we have ever had. The queso was so watered down we thought they mistakenly gave us milk. None of our dishes remotely resembled what we actually ordered which could be forgiven if the food tasted good. But the chicken was bone dry, the tostada shells were tough and stale (btw no one ordered tostadas it was supposed to be sopes). Don’t get me started on the sanitation… that should have turned us around when we first walked in but we have had some really good food in some pretty serious dives. All that to say if you have another option we suggest you take it.

I can't believe this happened...I ate here about 12 months ago. It wad bad. I did not recommend this restaurant at all. Tried it today (Monday, 6/17/24), it was fantastic! I asked my server if there was new ownership or management, she said "no we are the same we have always been." Well whatever they changed or adjusted has paid off. I recommend the shrimp taco and the tornados with chicken. My ingredients were fresh and prepared properly. The sweet tea by itself is a little to sweat for my taste, half/half of unsweet /sweat tea is a nice adjustment for taste. It is definitely worth a stop in. They also offer outdoor seating. They have good food and service.

Parking: Several spots right in front of the door. There is plenty of parking next door in the Harris-Teeter lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and parking are both handicap ♿️ accessible.

Really enjoyed our meals. Wife got the chicken quesadilla. I got the vegetarian fajitas. Wish I'd taken pictures.
Both were excellent. We had excellent service from Carlos. We'll return for sure. I'd recommend

Placed an online order at 5:53, email stated it would be ready at 6:25, arrived on time and my order was not ready …. No biggie right? WRONG! The order wasn’t brought out to me until after 7pm. I understand being a few minutes off on when the order will be ready but almost an entire HOUR off and the restaurant was completely empty! Thank goodness I checked the order before I left, no tortillas for the fajitas, and one item was completely MISSING from the order. The cheese dip is more like cheese flavored water. I do not recommend this restaurant nor will I ever be returning!

I have not been here in several years after some negative experiences. Today, I decided to return. Could not have been happier! Friendly waitress took my to-go order. Cool vibe all around. The food was phenomenal! The Diablo hot sauce is boss!

Never again! This is the first review that I’ve done on a restaurant and I felt it was necessary to warn others. We went there last night, red flag #1 should’ve been we were 3 of 10 people in a Mexican restaurant on a Friday night! The first table we sat at wasn’t clean so the waitress sat us at another table, cool, red flag #2. We ordered and ate our food, the beans were not hot but not a big deal, I ate them with the fajitas which were sizzling hot. When the waitress came to clear the table and I’m stacking the napkins on my plate, 2 ROACHES ran from underneath the napkin!! I hurried out of the booth and all the waitress could say was “Opps, sorry” like she was apologizing that they showed up early for their reservation! I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life! I will never go back!!
