Chen-Fu Chinese Fast Food

Wings are super small, not seasoned with that flavor that you expect from a Chinese wing, plain fried rice is horrible, prices are. But expensive for the quality you’re getting. Was disappointed in my meal honestly. Poor quality

Picked this place based on the latest reviews and they were accurate! Food was delicious, portions were good, excellent customer service and really good prices. We got 1 app, 4 dishes and 4 drinks and it was under $50! You can't even go to the grocery store for less than that! Their hot & spicy dishes are not spicy, they're between mild and medium, so you can always add more heat to your liking. While we were there we noticed a lot of their patrons are regulars (the lady at the counter was asking about their families and you can tell they have known each other for some time) so that tells you something!! ☺️ We will definitely be coming back!!!

I’ve been eating here since I was four years old. I am now in my mid thirties. Their family has treated our family incredibly over the years. I no longer live in Charlotte but when I do come in to town this is a must have. I have worked in Chinese restaurants and food service and eaten food from all over the country and the hospitality and quality that comes out of Chen fu is unmatched. I’ve eaten most of their menu at this point and have never had a bad meal. A delivery service spilled my soup one time but after the literal hundreds of take out orders my family and I have had from here can promise that was not at all their fault. If you are having any apprehension about trying this place I can promise you won’t regret it.

I drive 30 mins for my 16 year old son 3 x a month. We always order the pork fried rice with $2 or xtra pork. Hands down the BEST FRIED RICE IN CHARLOTTE! Something to be said about this couple having a successful restaurant for 25 years! They’re doing it right. Very thankful for their continued amazing food!

Online order not received by store. When I went to pick it up they were very helpful and able to make my orders in about 5 mins.
Ordered chicken and broccoli -
Sauce was darker than expected and chicken was in chunks. It didn’t taste bad but not what normal chicken and broccoli is ??‍♀️

The chicken had was all gunk and gooey stuff. They were small with no meat. The rice was subpar. She tried to get me to add eggs and veggies for more. Glad i declined. Dont waste your time here

I was looking for a replacement place to order chicken chow mein since China Fun stopped putting it on their menu. This isn't it. Chicken chow mein is, admittedly, a pretty bland dish, so what little seasoning there is is very important. It was definitely lacking in salt and pepper. In fact, everything seemed to be lacking in salt, making the rice, egg roll, and crunchy noodles taste oddly sweet. I had to use a ton of soy sauce to even out the flavor. I do give them bonus points for making fresh crunchy noodles - I just wish they had tasted better. My dog enjoyed them, though. I will say that the textures of the food were excellent, and contrary to other reviews, my egg roll was cooked perfectly, and I got a nice, large portion in my delivery. Flavor was the only issue I had.

Ordered for the first time via delivery. The food had clearly not been handled very well in the delivery process. There was barely any broth left in the Won Ton Soup, the Vegetable Roll was so greasy it was completely soft, and the Garlic Chicken didn’t taste like garlic at all. Although the delivery was not their fault, the quality of the food did not make up for it. Not recommended.
