Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I use to go to this location alot, but my past few visits has literally left a bad taste, the food comes out cold plate is hot but food cold. Had country fried steak and it had no gravy on it when asked about she says we don't serve it with the gravy on it because people complain because they don't know gravy comes on it even though the pictures has it with gravy and everyone knows it comes with gravy, I hate when someone tells what they know is a lie, it insults people intelligence. then the uncooked cinnamon rolls they cold also. she says they come like that, like I never had a cinnamon roll before. Butter couldn't melt on the pancakes.

I love to go shopping in the little store.

I had a paid in advance online order at 845pm. Website gave me an estimated ready time of after 10pm. Arrived and restaurant was nearly empty so confused as the extended order time. Arrive and employee asking me if I prepaid instead of checking the receipt; didn't bother to thank me or acknowledge my patronage because she was too focused on alerting her associate about releasing my order to me as CYA in case I was lying about prepayment. I requested plastic ware received none. Order included pancakes they left out the butter. Service experience was terrible.

Went there for breakfast. Coffee was lukewarm, bacon was limp when asked for crispy, grits were lukewarm and soupy. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Prices were very expensive. $34 for 2 breakfasts

Bring the old logo back!

Well the fact that one star is as low as I can give says a lot because they don’t even deserve that, after such an unfriendly hostess interaction we were sat at our table and left without acknowledgement in a nearly empty restaurant for over 10 minutes before just deciding to leave so can’t even begin to describe what the food was like being we never had the chance to receive it but if as much attention goes into the food as is given by the front of the house I’m probably pretty glad.
