Hands down, this is the best family restaurant in Matthews. It's no surprise they've been a local favorite for so long!
I find myself coming back almost every weekend, and I'm never disappointed. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly and courteous.
The prices are great, and the whole place has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Went there to pick up some food for my mom. I can't really speak on it because I got it for my mom. I'll do this, since my mom likes it, I'll give them a 4 on the food. To me, not my cup of tea. While visiting it just looks & feels like a place for older folks. Didn't wait for a table just the food. I did enter price per person; however, will say the food is about $12 to $15 per person.

Great food. Service can be iffy from the wait staff. Sometimes you get a great waitress or waiter and sometimes you don’t.
Parking lot has rules so be careful which space you occupy.
Try their stuffed flounder and their country fried steak. Both great. Their coffee is great too.
You can’t beat the price and service. The food comes out hot and fast. Coffee flowed freely & we enjoyed our family breakfast.
