Got sick from there food ordered the country fried steak with gravy, the gravy looked bad and I was right an hour later I had the worst stomach cramps and spent many visits to the bathroom I wondered why they had almost no customers and stacks kitchen was full of customers do not go to 74

Me and my parents go to this restaurant regularly almost every Sunday and it is perfect every time. The waitresses are very kind and attentive, and the food is always fresh. The portions are a good size, the food is affordable, and the quality is top notch. I definitely recommend eating here, the whole place has a comforting, southern ambiance.
This place has the best fish sandwich anywhere in Charlotte, hands down. The owner used to own the mayflower. Their flounder was awesome!

Well I didn't care to cook any lunch today, so I just took a drive back to Matthews, and I had a nice lunch with Nalaya at East 74 restaurant!
