This is the best Spanish food in charlotte and the only authentic Puerto Rican food I have found in the area. I only wish they had pasteles but maybe it will come seasonally menuðŸ˜.

If you are looking for an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant, El Cilantro is it. They have all of the traditional foods: Empanadas, Acapurias, Rice and Beans, Monfongo/Trifongo, Pork, Steak dishes. Been in the area for a month, I have come a few times and have not been disappointed.

BEST PUERTO RICAN FOOD IN NC !!!!!! IM FROM NYC SO IM USED TO EVERYTHING AUTHENTIC!! I ATE HERE THREE TIMES EVERY SINGLE I HAD WAS 10/10 !!! THE BEST EMPANADAS WERE SO JUICY!!! I GOT ROAST PORK , WHITE RICE , POTATOE SALAD , SWEET PLAINTAIN AND PASSION FRUIT JUICE
