Great Subs.

We enjoy Firehouse subs more than any sub shop chain. It does seem as the bread has changed and if I am correct, the bread was much better before.

Typically the food and service is amazing when ordering in store..but I have to give 2 stars today because the last 3 times we have had door dash orders from this specific location our order was wrong. Wrong in the sense that we cannot eat pickles due to certain food allergies and low and behold, we get pickles all over our subs.. the instructions when clearly read will state NO Pickles...should I resolve to going to Jersey Mike's? Management needs to teach people how to properly read and execute orders according to the customers specific requests.

The staff is very friendly and quick!

Looked on Google saw Firehouse in Matthews closed at 10pm so I hurried and got there at approximately 9:45. But when I went inside all 3 employees seemed mad that I was there. So I asked the young male manager if they were closed and he said no. So I asked him why he seemed upset and he said: "people keep ordering while we are about to close." (Which meant ME.) The two females seemed like they were angry, and neither one of them said one word to me, terrible customer service. There was more dialogue between myself and the young male manager but all three had terrible attitudes the entire time as if I had just ruined their night. You would think they were working for free. At this point I watched them make my sandwich closely because I didn't trust them anymore with my food. This is the first negative review I have ever wrote about any establishment EVER, but I felt like the hardworking owner of this location needs to know why his business might be losing customers like many other places I see closing their doors and going out of business. It's because of poor customer service like I received and it makes me not want to spend my money at this location because it's very difficult to trust people with these type of attitudes making your food.
