I enjoy the buffet.
The service is the ABSOLUTE WORST!
I have eaten there about 5 times since moving up here. Had to get my own refills of drink every time except once.
Only on ONE visit did I ever get to talk to my waiter/waitress.
On one visit the old lady that was waiting tables actually ignored me completely. She came by asking select tables if they were ok or needed anything and just completely ignored me trying to get her attention.

Best golden corral i ha e been too. The staff is amazing. Every employee is smiling and working hard to make sure you have the best experience possible. The managers are very nice and they are working side by side with the staff. Bonnie and Walter 2 of the managers are always ready and willing to help in any way. This place has clean bathrooms and the restaurant itself is very clean. Thanks for the amazing experience.

Our favorite place to go to after church on Sunday. Food is always fresh, tasty, and great variety. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our favorite server does a great job every week.

What an IMPRESSIVE staff at this particular location. I visited the Golden Corral In Matthews, North Carolina for a small birthday gathering with family. The staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant. Omar Sahir who is part of the management team there, was amazing as well as Miracle, who was our main waiter. I can’t say enough positive things about this particular staff and the unwavering commitment to make our visit as positive as possible. Thank you for making our experience a true highlight!!!

Im from FL and was highly disappointed on the selection options. In my home state there are a lot more options. To spend over $100 and no one in my group finished a plate. Food lacked flavor and some things proper temperature.
Staff was good. I believe Alex was the server . He was awesome. Very attentive

This is our go to restaurant after church on Sundays. We love the variety of food offered and it is hard to find better steak and ribs anywhere. Service is always good and the employees are always friendly.

Omar Osahir , Associate Manager the customer service deserves 10 Stars the food also deserves 10 Stars as well as the atmosphere. I live in East Charlotte , NC AND I LOOK FORWARD TO COMING TO THE LOCATION ON EAST INDEPENDENCE IN MATTHEWS. THE HOSPITALITY IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE . We had a group gathering at the Golden Corral in Matthews. It was a fantastic celebration, the staff and manager (Omar)added to the festive atmosphere. We all commented on how good the food was, everyone had their favorites. When you're in the mood for a buffet this GC is a great choice.

Very family friendly and the staff is simply amazing! My kid wanted Fries and there were none on the buffer but the manager heard his request and brought out freshly prepared homemade french fries! Chefs Kiss!

Have not been to a Golden Corral buffet in about 25 years. I moved into an area where there is one right down below my home. We stopped by one early Saturday morning and was very satisfied with the offerings they had and the quality of the food. Eggs are cooked well and the biscuit and gravy they even had livermush on the menu. I was very surprised at this yet it was a little bit overcooked. But then again there's no good way to put it on the buffet if you do it right.
