The fajitas taxanas are a favorite, with generous portions of steak, chicken, and shrimp perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is charming with hanging plants, and the staff is accommodating. They serve both mild and spicy salsa with chips, and the birria dishes are a must-try. The food is A+ and delicious, though some drinks like the margarita and tamarindo agua fresca can be overly sweet. While most of the menu is excellent, some dishes like the taco salad may disappoint with too much meat and little lettuce. The staff is amazing and family-owned, making it a favorite Mexican restaurant in Charlotte for many. On special occasions, they even have live music. It's a great spot for Mexican favorites and seasonal cocktails. Plenty of parking is available.
