As long as I’ve been living in Matthews, how have I not been here more often??? I stopped in during the week on my lunch break. Was seated immediately by a friendly hostess. My waiter came over who was just as friendly and took my drink order. For food I got the Roman Club sandwich with chips. It was so so good. The homemade potato chips set it off, they were warm and full of crunch. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here. Great place to grab a quick lunch or catch a game.

Food is good but for a sports bar. How is it possible that you are only playing the sound of the game on one small speaker that can be only heard in one area of the bar..

We found this bar by GOOGLING sports bars near me during a trip to visit friends in NC. It's definitely a locals place. We were there 5/24/2025, it was Stanley Cup Playoff time. We're from Florida and I'm a HUGE PANTHERS fan!! There was a guy at the bar that was a Carolina fan and he was so rude to me. The staff and the regulars told me that they love their Canes but they knew they weren't going to beat us and they told me to ignore him. Don't worry I did and we win!! The food was great, the martinis that were on special were great. The beer was cold, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We are sports bar fans so this was such a great spot. I highly recommend Kristophers!!

Disappointed to see on their online menu that they now have 2 prices for many of the dishes. One if your paying cash and another if your paying using a credit card. Never seen anything like that and won’t be going back to be nickel and dimed for mediocre food.

Lets just say, grown adults can get a kids meal and be full! Their spaghetti, pizza, and reubens are to die for!!! I love coming here every week! Thanks Kris and his family to keep this restaurant open for over 20 years!!
Good sports food, good sports on TV's EVERYWHERE. If you are like me and don't want to pay for cable but want to watch the game every now and then THIS is the place to go!

My fiancé and I have been going here almost every weekend for the past couple years. Their food is so good. I highly recommend the yellow jacket, shrimp basket, and their Philly cheese stake (personal favorites). The food is not only good, but it’s CONSISTENTLY good. Which now a days… pretty rare.

My boyfriend , Dean and I went to the bar area and sat at a table. We had friendly customer service. The waiter, Carson made good recommendations. The food and drinks were delicious and prepared very well. Erika was our bartender. She was awesome!
They have the best wings in Charlotte. Hot honey sauce is amazing and doing a jerk rub that isn’t too salty with the juiciest meat makes me irrationally upset I can’t replicate it. Keep it up!

I generally don't go to bars, they can be very noisy. However, their food is excellent. They have a sandwich that is half turkey and half corned beef. I've also tried their soup. I recommend giving them a try.
