Great food and service! We ordered the sausage and steak mofongos. The sausage was full of flavor and slightly crispy. Not sure how the steak was marinated, but it was delicious and also full of flavor. There weren't many people there on a Saturday night. Maybe because the light for the restaurant sign wasn't on and the sign is blocked by another store sign.Advise to management: Install a taller sign with lights and maybe people can see this place while driving by.

Catching up on reviews. I visited on the evening of Monday, 05-02-22. It was a late dinner but I'd left the gym and was starving. The time stamp on my pictures once I was in my car with the food was 9:46 pm.The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was a few items I asked about weren't available, like the shrimp patty and the mofonguitos. I ordered an empanada, beef tripe soup, & flan. The soup came with rice & I was given lime. Everything tasted great. I couldn't finish all of the soup and rice. The guy who took my order was very nice. I think the restaurant had only been opened for a short time then. Will definitely be returning.

Terrible place to eat at. No where near authentic dominican food. I order res guisdo it was different mixed beef & the moro was terrible! My mother order a bistec and it had zero flavor! The service was okay because it isn’t the servers fault. I originally order a dominican chimi and they said they didn’t have it nor did they have sweet plantains! Nor did the have passion fruit juice like what dominican place doesn’t !! The place was expensive for it to be terrible i spent $80 for two plates. The worst dominican food i’ve ever eaten in my life and i’m pure dominican !! In conclusion i don’t recommend this place to nobody and won’t be coming back !

Tried it out yesterday after being curious for some time. I’m from Puerto Rico and always looking for Latin food.The location, establishment decor and cleanliness, but most importantly the service by Lidia was exceptional. The appetizer empanadas and “chicharrón” were delicious. The “mofongo” was tasty but different. I’d never had in white sauce. Prices were comparable to every other Latin restaurant. I recommend it and will be back to try one of the many other dishes!

This restaurant charges a credit card transaction fee of $6.99; accordingly to management, the fee was being paid by the restaurant previously but is now being put on customers’ tab without warning… I would recommend patrons to carefully review their receipts before paying - I’m sure many people have paid this fee unknowingly. Bring cash if possible. Other than the fee issue, the food was average Dominican cuisine.

Unfortunately, the restaurant left a lot to be desired. My wife and I decided that we would take the kids out and have some type of family outing every Sunday. This Sunday, we decided to take the kids out for Dominican Food. When we arrived, the waitress did not speak any English. Luckily my wife did and was able to communicate with her. You should at least be bilingual if you’re a waitress. Not a huge deal. We then all proceeded to order and I swear to you, they did not have like 8 different items we tried to order. It became a joke because she would go to the back and then come back to say, sorry we did not have it. We ended up settling on some meals. The mozzarella sticks that we ordered were not hot. The cheese was not melted. My 5 year old who loves them did not even get through one. Once done, the check was 160.00 bucks. I was not happy about that at all. They didn’t even have plantains which was the side for most of their meals. I could not get mofungo… it’s was a bad experience and we will not be going back.

2 weeks ago me and my family went to this restaurant. We RESERVED our table for $50 dollars, plus a $20 dollar fee because we were going to see a band play. Everyone in my table consumed food and drinks. I had a cheese quesadilla and kindly asked the server I only wanted cheese on it. When I got my food they had put ranch inside, I had to return it and when it came back they barely put any cheese and was cold. My family ordered food and drinks but did not enjoy them either so some of it was returned. Later on that night server came and took our glasses and said they would bring plastic cups for us but never did that. We were still waiting for 2 more people and the band to start playing. 30 mins after they took our cups a employee came to our table and asked if we wanted to order anything and we kindly said no, he then proceeded to say that we would then have to leave because we were no consuming. We were a table of 11 and all of us consumed food and drinks. I told them we were waiting for 2 more people so maybe they would later order something but I was completely ignored and we were asked to leave since we were not consuming anymore. Keep in mind we paid an extra $20 dollars to see a band play, plus $50 to reserve our table. We spent over $300 in food and drinks and we were asked to leave because we were “consuming” their food and drinks. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The food itself was nasty, and my sister in law had to help the server get our check right. She asked HER to pull out the calculator on HER phone and SHE had to add up the prices.

La Leña restaurant has great food and awesome people they have a good services and good selections of food, and it’s even better at night we can dances and drink with my friends or family. They will make you feel comfy and welcomed. I’m don’t have any complaints it’s just perfect. You will love the food is delicious.

EXCELLENT!!We had an amazing experience the service was awesome and the food was super tasty. They made us feel at home! The owner greeted us and made a special seafood salad for my husbands birthday. Our server was attentive and conversational. We will come again.

Please do not ever go to this restaurant. The service is horrible. They had an event tonight and we reserved a table. We all ate and drank and they told us to leave because we hadn’t consumed anything. We paid $50 to reserve the table. They came to our glasses and never brought the plastic cups for water. We all paid $20 to see this band and didn’t even see this band. Nobody even liked their food and the drinks were not mixed well. This was a waste of money and time.

My first time here and the overall experience was very disappointing. It's unfortunate because you want to see people succeed. The lack of customer service, proper training and organization in the establishment is more than evident. While told thewait for any main course would be 30 plus minutes to come out once order was placed, but we could be seated. Encouraged to order appetizers and beverages, 2 empanadas (not very good) a margarita (served a piña colada instead) a water down coke, 2 hrs later & still no food. No one ever came around to check in on us, refill our drinks, but the only thing happening around us was the same look on others, upset, hungry and dissatisfied. Upon asking for our check I was met with hostess angry reprimand, rudeness and lectures of being told there would be a wait time. This woman never offered an apology, instead continued to speak over me when I attempted to explain that 2hrs was my limit and how she could have helped the situation all around as the lead. I do hope things change for the owners sake but until they train their team properly and get a flow going, things will continue to fall apart.

We came here to eat and to an event. The service was the worst service ever. The food was disgusting and the service was horrible. We paid 50.00 for the reservation plus god know how much we paid for 13 people. Then all of a sudden this dude comes up and tells us that management had called his attention because we were not consuming enough. Mind you we paid 20.00 for the activity, 50.00 for the table plus the food. Seriously?! I would never come back nor recommend it at all.
