Just went to McDonalds(One on Independence going into Matthews) with my Mom both of our sandwich orders were wrong. We had pulled over in a parking lot to eat nearby and finally noticed the sandwiches were made wrong. We had checked them at the window and thought they were OK, but should've taken a closer look. I had asked for no cheese on mine and light sauce and my Mom asked for the same. When I had looked at mine in the drive thru I thought my light sauce was OK(There was no cheese), but later noticed it was drenched with it. My Mom's sandwich had light sauce and part of it had cheese on one side of it. She didn't notice the cheese when she checked at the drive thru. We had also ordered a basket of fries and we ended up eating all of them. My Mom ate her sandwich where there was no cheese and I didn't eat any of mine. So we decided once we got done we are going back to the McDonalds and complain to management and see what could be done. I stayed in the car and she went inside because I have a short temper. She went in to see if we could get a full refund for the whole meal for our troubles. When she finally came back out to the car she told me no one in there spoke English at all. No one could understand what she wanted. They kept saying they can remake the order(I didn't want another sandwich I was nauseated/My Mom threw most of hers outside the car window). My Mom kept saying she wanted a refund. The only thing they did was give her $5 and some change for my sandwich. I guess because we brought back my sandwich. They did nothing for our trouble about ruining both of our meals. There are people who say it's so great about having immigrants do jobs most Americans don't want to do. Well if they speak no English(Very little) what's so great about it? Especially don't have them running management at McDonalds. My Mom even told me the sandwich tasted off(Fish sandwich) and she told them that too. Of course they didn't understand. No habla inglés.

See if you can call a corporate office or email them. English should be our official language. If you want to work here, you have to be able to communicate. Smh

My response back:

Yeah she said she's going to(contact corporate) because it was a joke to her she said. People higher up need to know. As she was walking out a lady told her she's coming in to complain too. The lady said someone was rude to her at the drive thru. I think my Mom said the lady's food was wrong too. When you look at their Google reviews they have a lot of bad reviews.

No need to hit me with a cookie cutter link I see on some bad reviews.

Horrible i place the order through the app and it took like 15 min for me to get my order. It was sitting on their end table. I had no way to get it. There were 2 guys standing there just talking. The employee was just taking care of other customers but not by the register. When I got her attention she finally gave me my order. Never again will i order from MCD. I also order MCDonald's $2 holiday special on the 4 piece mc meal they gave 3 items out of the 4 listed on my order. Missing 2 bags of fries small. now i have to report this to corporate.

This is only the second time I've been to this location but both times were memorable in the negative sense. Terrible and rude service. No enthusiasm, not even a smile from the staff. I ordered a chicken tender meal. Tenders were luke warm and tasted old. The fries were good and probably the only positive part of this experience. I will not be visiting this location again.

I visited this location and used the restroom, I mistakenly left my cell phone in the stall. The crew members there, took my phone. It went from a lost iPhone to a STOLEN iPhone. They gave my phone to random person. Claiming it was theirs. I spoke with management, called the police and made a report. But it still never sat right with me. Because HOW?

Ordered a Big Mac value meal at the drive thru which showed a price of $8.59 on the board (before tax). When I got to the window the girl said the cost was over $10.50. When I asked why, the girl said you wanted a large meal didn't you. I said I didn't ask for that so why would you charge me. She didn't answer and just changed the charge to what it should have been. I usually don't pay much attention when paying but after I saw what she did, I checked prior purchases I made and found that I had been overcharged the prior 2 times I visited this restaurant. Obviously this is a common practice at this location and I will not longer patronize it.
