I went on a Sunday after church had let out, so it was rather busy. There was a wait of 15 minutes, but the restaurant was completely full, so I dont hold that against them.
My waitress was attentive and friendly, making sure that everything about my meal was good. My food was brought out quickly, and was exactly as ordered. The menu has plenty of options for everyone, from health nuts to picky eaters and more.
They have nice desserts as well, I had the molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. It isn't a large dessert, just keep that in mind if you're expecting a large portion of dessert.
Overall, great place. Its a good date spot and conveniently nestled in downtown Matthews, NC, which has plenty of nice walking and shopping opportunities.

This was our first visit. The food was delicious. My daughter and I had sushi and my husband had fried rice. Both options were wonderful. Great value for the price. Our server was delightful. We will definitely be back!

A few slight tweaks to standard chinesr dishes make all the difference. Outside of NYC and Vancouver Chinatowns, this is my favorite. Who knew?

Placed a delivery order through GrubHub. A major part of the order wasn’t delivered probably because it was in a separate bag and the driver didn’t bring it to the house. Someone from MingFu delivered a replacement to us. Impressive. They didn’t have to do that. But it was nice because it was all one person at my house had to eat.

Food was great and lunch size portions are huge! Great service as well. Had lunch here with 6 or 7 other ladies here today. Would definitely recommend!

Update from 10/18/2024. I had Sushi and it was very good. Also the plum wine. My friend had lettuce wraps and pancakes to go. Great place with reasonable prices and good service.

I had the Basil chicken. Service was excellent and parking easy. Priced reasonably with a free egg roll with the entrees. Sorry no photos.nWill go again!

I was disappointed in my lettuce wraps, the texture of the chicken seem fatty. My daughter ordered a salad and the lettuce came with a core in it. The food she has was overall good but the salad. I have ate there a couple of times and the first time disappointed. The waiter was managing the whole open area and needed support.

Ming Fu brings me into Ming Dynasty a few hundred years ago. With ancient flavor environment with lanterns, it seems very different from other Chinese restaurants.

Try their egg rolls, they are crispy and tasty even without the sauce.

The Four Happiness is what I ordered tonight with jumbo shrimp, Chicken, pork, beef and veggies. Flavorful but not too salty.

Love the environment and dishes.

Give it a try and you won't regret it!
