I go to a bunch of mods as I travel for work and I gotta say Emma is the reason I’m leaving a review. She has great energy and I can tell she does way more than the average employee especially in a world that seems to do the bare minimum.

Back when they had opened I had given them 3 stars. They lacked many toppings I liked back then. Went there after many years due to the Japanese place next door not serving during those hours. I was pleasantly surprised to see a great variety of topping now, and service was absolutely excellent. I have updated my review and rating now to reflect this.

Food is always good but they can definitely improve customer service. Our last experience wasn’t a good one. There were two people in line before us . The young lady was methodically preparing their order which was several pizzas. Yes, it was slow but no big deal. What bothered me was the second young lady working at the same counter who couldn’t pause long enough in preparing online orders, to assist us. She looked at us several times fully aware that we had been waiting awhile. Yes, I understand that it is first come, first serve. But maybe rather than continuing to fill online orders, of which nobody was waiting on, instead take care of your in-store customers. I would rather patronize stores that care about all their customers. I would have had no problem waiting if they had only one employee working, but that was not the case. Value all your customers!
Yesterday 9/14/25 my son and I entered the restaurant and were immediately met with the nastiest look from the blonde cashier. Then she is told the other representative would be with us, because she was working on another order. No welcome, no hello, just straight to the point. Apparently the other person didn’t finish her task in time so the initial representative had to take our orders. After me stating twice that I had never been there before hoping she would explain the process to me, I ordered a cheese pizza and asked that the pineapples be placed on after baking. My son placed his order and I paid. I asked her how long it could take, to which she snapped “ well we don’t have the regular amount of people so I don’t know.” I took a chance and ran to the Harris teeter behind the building, 15 mins at most and returned to find my pizzas sitting waiting for me. My pineapples were on my son’s pizza. They offered to remake it but at that point I just wanted to get out. Probably won’t ever return. She needs to learn soft skills.

The worst pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza was cold, even though we had just picked it up. It had just been sitting there, not reheated, just waiting for us. The cheese wasn’t even real cheese, but some weird, unrecognizable substance. And the chicken was strange, tasteless, and clumped only in the middle.

Stopped in in a Friday night. Not very busy but waited in line for 6 minutes. Associate did NOT want to be there and you could tell. She was not friendly and didnt prepare the food as it should have been. Come on Mods...hire better people.
